Here are the green letters for PAPER. I have not sewn them together.
It's pretty clear the green is a lot better than the gold. I also made the letters larger and fatter.
All of you who are so concerned with the grammar of the phrase, you are going to have to wait.

The further along you get, the more I like the spotted background you chose. Have fun.
I like the green better. That visual weight you referred to in an earlier post - I always called it "balance".
This has probably been asked a gajillion times already, what do you do with the parts you replace? Set the aside as-is for another project? Take them apart and return to stash?
