This is Blu, the diamond quilt I made last summer. It has also been quilted.
I'll put a binding on it and send it to its new home, which is a surprise.

It's lovely! Somebody's going to be happy!
Someone will received a wonderful surprise. Giving quilts as gifts makes them doubly special since both giver and receiver feel joy.
Your quilts are gorgeous.
One of my favorites of all your diamond quilts. Love that rich blue so much!
Wow that is a beautiful quilt. I may have to try making one of those in the future.
I love the design and all the beautiful colors!
Both of these diamond quilts are absolutely gorgeous. Makes us all want to have a diamond quilt in the works again! Lovely, lovely, lovely!
Another beauty — happy binding time. That surprise will definitely make someone’s day.
Pure loveliness! Enjoy every last moment with this beauty.
This quilt Blu is beautiful... I wonder how quilters package such a treasure to give away? I have bought trunks new and old and placed the quilts in them as gifts. To give such a beauty away deserves special packaging. Don't you think?

It is gorgeous. Congratulations on another superb finish. Very fresh looking.
Just lovely! What a lucky recipient!!
This is my favorite of the diamond quilts, the spots of warm just make the blue even more refreshing, like snorkeling in the tropics with all the flashy fish.
How do I wrap it up to gift it? I fold it up, backing out, fold one corner over, and tie it with ribbon or a contrasting fabric scrap. I include a note saying "USE THIS QUILT," with washing instructions, and I include a box of color catchers. Then I stuff if in a clear plastic trash bag to keep it clean, and I put it in a decorative tote bag from like Home Goods or something. Very low tech.
Oh yeah, I wash it first so it is soft and crinkly.
