Going Bananas Going To Help

This is the Going Bananas quilt I made in 2021 from the leftover Zebra Quilt strips and finished last year.

I never took beauty shots of it, but now I have. Like all quiltmakers, I like to donate a quilt when needs must, and when I read from Nancy Near Philadelphia's request for quilts for children in war-torn Ukraine, I thought of this quilt. It's a bit bigger than what she asked for, but a quilt is a gift of love no matter the size, so later this week I shall send it off.

I've been busy on the home front, and I'll be traveling later this month, so the blog may be quiet for a bit. I'll pop in and out if time permits. Should by back at the end of the month.

So glad you have the perfect quilt to donate. It's in the Ukraine flag colors, too. Enjoy your time away.

I am sure that some child will go bananas for this quilt. Thank you for sharing with those in need.

Yes, a gift of love. That is why mum does her crow-shay blankies and hats.

What a beauty to donate -- and it is absolutely a gift of love.
