Waltzing Matilda in Australia

The Waltzing Matilda quilt has safely reached its new home in Sydney, Australia!

I love to see my quilts in different locations, and there sure aren't any palms in New England in the northeast corner of the US.

Megan said, "the quilt is, of course, absolutely wonderful..." and that it was welcomed with "the thunderous applause it warrants." She says it has been given pride of place on the lounge where it will be used throughout the winter.

For me, this smile says it all. We make, and give, quilts because of the "Sheer Love Units" they generate.

Mission Accomplished!

There is so much joy in making and giving, and that smile says so much. Beautiful setting to show off Matilda, who will be Waltzing every day as she is admired and used.

I'm still feeling very humbled by the whole experience Lynne and haven't been able to think of a suitable way to thank you.

Lucky Megan, she looks so happy! And I like the 2nd photo of the quilt with the palm, plant with the red in the leaves, and the yellow leaves at top to the photo - perfect colors for the quilt. Or is it the quilt is the perfect colors for those plants?
