I also picked up Waltzing Matilda from JL over the weekend. We had been unable to connect because of the pandemic and the holiday, but I really had to get the heck out of the house, and it was a nice drive out to the seacoast. This quilt had been ready for some time, as you can tell from the creases.
Here is a better view. It was sunny (but very cold this past weekend (7F), so I didn't take very many outside shots. I love to take pictures of quilts in the snow because we know they will probably never see snow again.
After taking these pictures I brought the quilt into the house and spread it on my bed. A few hours later the creases had relaxed themselves out.
Choosing the binding for this one was a snap.

Such a pretty finish. I'm glad you found the time to pick it up and let it romp in the snow.
Oh, such a pretty quilt. If the sun comes out tomorrow, I will take the quilts out for a snow photo. Love the quilting on it.
Love the quilt--not the snow :-)
Will there be a pattern available for this?
This is one of my very top favorites of yours ... the colors, the spirit, the flow, just everything. Stunning and beautiful.
It seems to move before my eyes! Wonderful
