Sixteen and Sweet

 

Here are the 16 blocks for the Christmas quilt I am working on. I plan to make more boxes so this is by no means a final arrangement.

Here is the baklava I made. I found a great recipe that isn't too sweet or cloying. I didn't want to make a full recipe so I made 1/3 of it, and baked it in a bread pan. They turned out so damned good I made a second batch.

I am starting to decorate for Christmas. I put my wreath up.

I adore your precious Christmas quilt idea; it's wonderful. Baklava is one of my very favorite of all foods~ yum!

Silly me left a comment on the photos of your wreath on the 2015 blog post!! I love how you decorated the original silver wreath, smashing colour in the baubles. Boxes - my two youngest grandkids would love a box cushion each I reckon.
