More boxes

I made a few more boxes.

and this one...

and this one....

I like these so far, but my friend Mary had a terrific suggestion.

She wondered if there was place for a bird in the quilt. (Well, DUH!) So I made a Christmas bird. I love the candy cane legs.

If you want to make a bird, you can get my tutorial here, at my Etsy shop. It's an instant download, so you can get started right away.

Christmas is the BEST! Boxes and birds. I love it.

Very nice packaging. You are making me think about sewing a Christmas butterfly. If ever I needed a butterfly, it is now.

GREAT legs on that Christmas bird - just perfect. We have been decorating the house the weekend including the Christmas quilts.

Oh, this quilt looks SO FUN!! I had some of that "ribbon" with the gold holly and and swirls on green. It was some of my favorite Christmas fabric. The bird gives the quilt greater impact, an extra 'piece' of Christmas. Thank you!

I think I will make one box, border it and it can hang in our RV this season... if I get it done in time.
