The three big sections have been sewn together. So about half the quilt is complete. I worked on the left sections yesterday, the bird and the area above the bird. Next up is the complicated six-asterisk section in the middle.

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished quilt top. Did you consider putting a partial asterisk at the top right corner, as if it's about to float off out of the quilt? I'm wondering if that would enhance the dandelions floating away effect or be overworking the idea. The border (if there will be one) and binding might ruin that effect though. Unless... somehow work an asterisk on top of border/binding???
Slow and steady . . . it is going to be amazing.
