I have a rule never to go shopping on Black Friday - the day after Thanksgiving. Instead I'll sit on the couch today watching whatever's good on TV while I bind the Diamonds & Dinosaurs quilt.
Well, there is a quilt store a little ways away that takes 45% off everything if you get in the store between 8 and 9. You get a ticket and can check out whenever. I cannot resist going because I can a ruler, 1/2 yards of Kaffe, or anything I need to fill in, and be home by 10:30 am at such a discount.

I made a library run, hardly anyone there. Nice I could snag the closest handicap parking spot and get in and out quickly.

I have the same rule. And actually I don't think I'll go anywhere near a store until Tuesday--12/3 :-)
