I am making a small bird quilt that will be easier to display in classes I teach. I liked the fabric I bought so much yesterday I decided to make a bird using it. I also decided to use a patterned fabric for the background.
I wanted another bird, so I made this one out of leftover fabrics. This is is a bigger bird. In this new quilt I want to have birds that show a lot of variation from the "basic" bird.
Here are two other birds I plan to use in the new quilt.
If you want to make some birds, you can get my tutorial here, at my Etsy shop. It's an instant download so you can get started right away.

Just love the new birds. I love all the differnet white on whites you used- so much more interesting than one.
Hooray for more birds!!
They are lively bright birds.
Lovely birds!
So, how big are the "small" birds, as opposed to the "regular" birds you make? I like the idea of small ones for little projects,
