Fabric Intervention

I've been cleaning the studio. I've folded a lot of fabric, as you can see.

There isn't any room to put it away in the bookcase.

I think I need a fabric intervention.

It's a work in progress.

It's slow going, but this makes me feel so much better!

I am finding a lot of fabric that I don't remember.

This is so much better. I still have a lot of work to do, but it will be a lot easier to work when it is all neat and clean. I can't remember how long it's been since it was really neat, so it's long overdue.

I need a fabric intervention also. I buy and say I won't buy more until I sew a lot more and then there is something that will work perfectly and it comes home with me. I need help.

Agree, so much easier to work in a neat workspace. No matter what you are doing.

It looks wondereful. How nice to rediscover treasures and find that you still like them!

It looks like you are doing a great job intervening yourself. It just takes time and perseverance. Creating is a mess producing business.

I did an overhaul like this in my studio. I found stuff I didn't have any idea I had. Once organized it is easier to find things and sew. I bought your pattern and have all my batiks out and have eight done. I love them.

I like the progressive photos as your straighten. Marie Kondo would be so proud. Ha.

You did a great job organizing that fabric. I need an intervention too.

My stash continues to grow even though my sewing time is limited. Definitely have issues but can't control my urge to buy pretty fabric (lol).
