Discovery

I have a yard of this. I didn't know I had it. I can't remember why I even bought it. I've cut into it, so I know I used a bit of this for something, but at the moment I can't even remember what.

I -can- tell you there's a bird in there, though! The body fabric was also a stash re-discovery, and the potential beak bit was in my scrap bins.

It looks like we will be having a big snowstorm on Wednesday. Big enough so I might stay home rather than venture out to work. We'll see. It is winter in New Hampshire and these things are to be expected.

I got the chicken stock done the other day. Boowie for me!

Who would have thought that fabric would make such a terrific wing? I bought an Instantpot and now make bone broth pretty quickly from the bones I freeze from. rotissiere chicken.

I am having so much fun watching you sort your shelves. What I want to know is how you are keeping on track so to speak. So many goodys to get distracted by

Will your NH quilt have birds that represent your local family members?
