The Art Bird

I am an Artist, so of course there has to be an art bird in the New Hampshire Quilt.

I've had these fabrics for some time, and they are perfect for an art bird. Of course I'll fussy cut the hell out of them!

Because I wanted the colors in the wing fabrics to be arranged the way I did, I had to make this bird a bit bigger.

I like this guy too!

If you want to make a flock of your own birds, get my tutorial at my Etsy shop here. It's an instant download so you can get started right away.

I am more keen than ever to make a start on my birds, and I have a theme in mind! I liked seeing the layout of the bird pieces in a previous blog...it helps the tutorial.

Yes, that beautiful art bird SHOULD be larger since your background influences just about everything you do.

And as he said to the smaller one " Here's lookin' at you down there" love the fussy cut fabrics.
