I always have my students make a long strips of bird legs. It makes it so much easier because once you have made a cool bird body, you won't want to stop to make legs.
Bird legs don't have to be black. They can be purple or they can be blue.
They can be patterned, and the pattern can be subtle or pronounced.
They can even be bull's eye circles.
Or Zig-zags.
Or even paper clips!
You too can make your own unique birds with wings that sing. Get my tutorial at my Etsy shop, here. It's an instant download, so you can get started right away.

I like making the long strips of legs and then using a little from each set so I have a mixture of leg parts ready at any given moment.
Today, smack in the middle of Lake Effect snow in Buffalo, might be the day to make a bird. I have the pattern, just hard to break the ice and actually start.
Thanks for the share. We like the different designs that you can make the legs. Your students must love it. We like the bulls eye circles if we were making one. Have a wonderful day.
