It's April first. The weather is supposed to be mild and the snow is supposed to be almost gone. And yet, it is snowing. There is easily six or more inches on the ground and it shows no signs of letting up.
Sigh.
Mother Nature is having a good laugh at our expense, I am sure.

Maybe the weather man thinks you need more, do you worry about having enough moisture to carry over for spring into summer in the ground?
Mother Nature is in on April Fool's Day. How funny!
I was hoping it would be the case here... supposed to rain - and the temp in in the 30s.
Hugs
Mother Nature saying "April Fool" except this is no joke!
Not a very nice April Fool Day. I heard that Washington had an ice storm yesterday. All you can do is grin and bear it!
xx, Carol
Don't worry, it will go away fast. Our foot of snow in mid-March was gone in a week. Just think of this as water for your plants.
I would love to have some of this snow in August here in Texas when we have 100+ days for days at a time. We rarely get snow here in Central Texas even in the dead of winter.
So sorry. We had it on Monday and Tuesday and unfortunately it headed your way. We were sort of lucky. Only got about 4 inches and South Anchorage got more than a foot. We're so over it too. Where is spring?!
Well I've been following your blog for a long time. You asked what we wanted to know more about so.....
I want to understand how you went about making the green spools quilt you gave to your son? I've been saving striped fabrics and browns for awhile and want to do my own version instead of following a pattern.
One last thought for newbies they need to learn the basics in order to break the rules. Oh, I just used your slab triangles method for the border of my Cotton Robin, loved it❤️
