X's and O's

I added black and white side triangles to the blocks and put them back up on the design wall. This layout is interesting, but the blue is too light (too close in value to the black and whites) to make the design of the triangles really stand out. It needs more stronger colors. That's fine. I have a lot of scraps to play with. So things are progressing.

I love the secondary star pattern that appears. I learn something from just about every quilt you make :)

Oh, yes Cherie. I really like the star that popped out. Lynne, I hear/see what you say about the blue not standing out, but it also makes me have too look more in-depth at your layout. I learn so much from you and your art background. The more I look at it, the more I see.

Xs and Os, and stars and diamonds. What fun!

I love the shades of blue but see what you mean about losing them against the black and white. I'd be tempted to change the background, though. (I'm looking at your bird in the sidebar.) It will be fun to see what you choose.

The black and white prints really do cool things to the color blocks. I think it's fabulous!
