Blue Scrap Slabs
I finally got back into the studio to sew some dark blue scraps together into slabs.
I cut a few triangles, and had an epiphany. Can you see the middle triangle in the bottom row? See how the strips are not lined up at right angles? I was moving the template around and I saw that and thought -- HEY! Why not? I'm going to make more like that.
I already know I'm going to use this layout for these dark triangles. I'll also include some purple.

Totally yummy blues! You could have those fabrics go every which way if you want to! That might be interesting, or it might be mushy. Fun to explore, though.
Boy, do those blues sing, I like the way some strips are up, some across, and now some on a slant.
My favorite and most satisfying quilts have been 'patternless', that is, made by eye and instinct.
Love the richness of those blues!
Those blues are beautiful. How is your sewing machine? Did you get it in for repairs?
Oh this is going to be incredible - reds and blues and purples, oh my!!!
Love the blues. Loves the diamonds. AND LOVE the zig-zag black and whites!
