Yesterday I didn't work on the scrappy slabs. I did groceries and household chores. However, I tried adding some of the acid green triangles from the Fruit Loops quilt. Already I can tell this made a big difference. The quilt has so much dark in it, it will need some lighter values. In addition to the Blue Violet and Violet blocks, I plan to add Teal Blue, and I can see I'll need to add more of the Acid Green (which is really just Yellow Green).
And I worked on the binding of the Rose Deco quilt. I've got to ship that to sunny California next week.
This is the newest picture of my little grandbaby. She's getting cuter every day.

I agree, that green lifts it all up so well, and they are all looking wonderful, But your wee girl, a true winner.
What a beautiful little girl. And so expressive. I hear Hollywood calling.
I like the acid green, but I didn't like the other leftovers you added. You have hit my swwetg spot with the acid green in this color combination.
Your granddaughter is adorable! What kind of acrylic ruler set are you using that gives you the right size pieces for the sides of the main triangle? Or is it the same triangle just cut in half?
What a cutie pie, just the perfect age for baby's first Christmas. I like the green additions, I just recently bought the tri recs rulers and I like how that little notch cut-out helps line up the pieces.
She is a gorgeous baby. No two ways about it.
Your triangles just keep getting better! Love the addition of the lime/acid green - gives the other colors a kick!
Your grandbaby is sooo cute - she looks like she's already a little sweetie!
Love the addition of both the green and the baby.
