I do not know why, but I love containers of all types. I have a special weakness for boxes, tote bags and bowls. It's probably a good thing that of these three I can only make tote bags. A couple of weeks ago my Mom got an iPad, and she asked if I could make her a bag to carry it around in, and she asked if I could make the strap long enough so she could wear it across her body. No problem, I told her, I even have just the right fabric.
I bought a big piece of this Home Dec fabric a few years ago when I found it in the scrap bin of a local shop.
The little bag didn't need to be complicated, and it was simple to do.
Voila!
Mom loves it.
