I've been really tired lately, so last night I just sat on the couch (with Millie purring nearby), watching tv (The Making of the Universe: Black Holes, then The Big Bang), with my sketchbook in hand. I worked on the UN in FUN. Here's what I ended up with:and then I flipped it upside down..
and for what it's worth, I like layout # 2 best in Sunday's post also.

I like the un in your sketch. I like the fact that it has the same slant as the F. I love seeing your design process.
I HATE being tired and just not feeling the groove. any thyroid problems run in the family? hope it's just the winter lasting too long and so in two weeks you'll spring to life along with all daffodils and tulips. agree with Connie that it's nice to have the slant on these.
What's extra fun about this is that you don't have to decide which is up and which is down until you have the pieces sewn together.
