Happy Valentine's Day

I've been wanting to make a red and white quilt for a table cover for a few months now. I can't decide what pattern to make, so I haven't made one.

At any rate, I thought it was close to Valentine's Day, and I wanted a red quilt on the table. Then I thought. "Lynne, you silly! Use the Red Sticks quilt."

So I pulled it off the couch put it on the table.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day, with Flowers!

Just after I walked into my office on Friday morning, these flowers were delivered. They were sent by my son and his fiancee. Not visible in this photo are the gorgeous dusky roses. This bouquet is extremely fragrant. My coworkers mentioned they could smell them too! Thank you my darlings!

I'm working on my next class at Quilted Threads. This one will be on wonky hearts, asterisk flowers, birds and butterflies.  So it was only appropriate that I show off some wonky hearts today.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!
The roses are from my wonderful son. The painting is one of my favorite paintings inthe Currier's permanent collection (although right now it is on exhibit somewhere in the UK.)My sweet son, with the flowers he bought for his special lady friends.
