Back to My Granddaughter

Once I finished the Court Jester quilt, I cleaned the worktables in the studio.

I made the binding for and attached it to the Blushing Zebras quilt for my granddaughter.

All I have to do is pin it to the front and then machine sew it down.

I visited the Y yesterday afternoon to lay the backing down for my granddaughter's no batting quilt. The two large workout studios are empty on the weekends so I had the place all to myself. I taped the backing to the floor and then set the quilt on top.

Then I strategically safety pinned the two layers together so I could fold it up and bring it home. I'll be able to do the ties at home without having to do it on the floor.

It's kinda funny. the backing fabric was essentially nine feet by nine feet, and while it dwarfs most everything, in the workout studio it looked small!

So it will be all DGD all the time for the next week while I finish these.

PS It's Election Day in the US. Please go vote.
