In order to properly install the wallpaper, I had to remove the molding around the kitchen window. It had never been painted, and I knew it would be a lot easier to paint if it was off, so I took it off.
And applied a coat of primer.
I had decided I wanted to make the wallpaper panel above the window a focal point, so I picked what I wanted to show off, and centered the panel above the window.
I wallpapered one side,
So then it was on to the other side...
After surrounding the window, there was nothing else to do but finish the last wall. After the window trim was reapplied, this is what it looks like.
If you want to know what it looked like before...

Beautiful! This looks so different! You must be so happy with the results of your hard work.
It looks great, Lynne! The trim makes a real difference. I'm interested in what it was like to work with self stick wallpaper. Did you find it easier than "old fashioned" pre-pasted paper? I would be worried it would stick to itself and be a mess. It certainly seems worth it, though!
Wow!! So lovely, Lynne... It Really looks Fabulous!
Looks fantastic!
You are doing an amazing job, and it all looks really professionally done too. Beautiful!
You are so multi-talented. Beautiful work, and I bet it makes working in the kitchen that much more enjoyable.
It is a whole new kitchen. Looks terrific.
The new wallpaper is certainly an improvement!
