I don't understand why some people can't understand why I do what I do. To me, if I want it bad enough, I will do whatever I have to do to make it happen.
So when I mess up, like this above (I didn't measure correctly),I had to fix it.
(Incidentally, I was crawling ON the countertop to reach this corner and install the wallpaper. Kinda cramped.)
Installing the wallpaper inside the hutch was no small feat either. I used a small portable light to help me to see what I was doing.
I had to order another roll of the light wallpaper, as you can see - I need to replace that piece on the middle right and paper the sides.
Just like sewing together the blocks of a quilt really tightens up the design, the wallpaper properly installed looks really great.
I've reached the window over the sink. I removed the molding so I could fit the wallpaper behind it. I'll also paint the trim before it goes back up.I'm pretty excited to get my kitchen back. It's getting closer!

Looking good so far.
I think it will be awesome when you are done!
LOVE the new look of the hutch. And you are so right about working in awkward spaces when you tackle a project like a kitchen or bathroom. SO worth the effort though.
Your kitchen is looking awesome. You are doing a great job with the wallpaper. It is like working with fabric in terms of matching patterns and making tight seams. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished kitchen.
Looking fabulous, you motivate me!
