I really hate it when the stash gets all messy, but sometimes life gets in the way. I had been avoiding the studio until Julie prodded me to go to Quilted Threads last week. After I washed all the fabrics, I didn't have any place to put it unless I cleaned up my stash. So I got right to it.
I opened my portable table and removed the wrong fabrics from the shelves and sorted them. Then one shelf at a time I replaced them.
Finally it was done. I also ironed all my fabric purchases of the last week and put them away too. So this is my stash, and I'm pretty happy with it. Actually, that's a dramatic understatement. I'm absolutely THRILLED it's organized.
This is one of the birds I made today. It's pinky purple.
Here's another kinda sorta pinkish bird. As you can see, my definition of "Pink" is fairly broad.
If you want to make some birds, you can get my tutorial here, at my Etsy shop.

Your second bird is the winner. Years ago, when our Japanese student lived with us for the whole year, one of her words, was, Pinky Purple" , so those have a special meaning and memory for me!!!
Well done on the stash sort! Two more beautiful birds as well. I happen to love pinky purple.
Sorting through my stash also. I think I had the same bookcase which I got rid of because the stacks are too high. When I pull one fabric out, it becomes a waterfall. Love the birds. Pinky purple is wonderful.
Love those birds! I bought your tutorial when you first published and just haven't gotten around to making any birds, I must get a move on with them.
The stash can look so terrible when it's in disarray...... But once organised is so pretty......
