TGIF Bird

This is Friday's bird. You all know how I will fussy cut anything to get the look that I want.

This is a scrap from the backing for the Peppermint Swirl quilt I made back in 2017. I wanted a not white backing of the newest bird, and I thought the words would work with a little judicious fussy cutting.

As it happened it needed a LOT of judicious fussy cutting. But if you want something bad enough you'll move mountains to make it happen.

You can get my bird tutorial here if you want to make birds, and trust me, you want to make birds. :-)

Holy Moly! You are the Queen of fussy cutting! I'm impressed with how all the lines of text line up perfectly in every section, regardless of angles.

It was worth the effort.

Never would have guessed that the final block came from that fabric. What a surprise.
