Back to Birding

I made a couple of black and white birds. I love the fabric in the wing of this bird, and red is an obvious beak choice.

I love birds with really long legs and striped fabrics are a favorite. Here the same fabric is used for the legs as well as the beak.

Now that I am finished with the first bird quilt, I'll be working on the second. It's been busy here at Chez Tyler, and I've been kept out of the studio. The toilets in both bathrooms have been replaced and finally the rooms are back to "normal."

If you want to make birds, you can get my tutorial here, at my Etsy shop.

Bathrooms, when ours was finished, with a walk in wet floor shower, I was first in line to try it out. The lino was a dream, and I had never thought I would be so delighted in that necessary room. So glad yours are all done.

The black and white birds are quite perky. Can't wait to see your second quilt progress.

Oh, how fun to see three generations in one photo! Congratulations! I have some of that B&W bird's red leg fabric. I'm waiting for that teaser to arrive about something "Spectacular" you found that you'd forgotten you had, per the Black and White Post of March 23.
