All the blocks for the Defying Gravity quilt have been sewn together, and the blocks have been sewn into rows. The next task is to sew the rows together. I'm really happy with this. It will have a 2" wide border of an assortment of the cream fabrics arranged somewhat randomly.
This is a scrap slab triangle quilt which means the triangles are made from "made fabric" from scraps. You can see more of my scrap slab quilts here, and if you want to make one you can get my tutorial here, at my Etsy shop.

This is a really cool quilt. I love what you do with color and your attention to detail to get it 'JUST RIGHT". I don't often comment, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing the way you put together quilts.
My condolences on the loss of your father. I hope you can focus on the good memories.
Thanks for posting so much. I look forward to each of them.
This is definitely a “winner” - I really like it!
Wonderful, as usual. I can't sit at a sewing machine right now due to sciatica but I am getting vicarious thrills from looking at your projects.
Great name for your stunning quilt….it truly sparkles. I’ve been squinting to picture what this layout would look like with the neutrals and colors reversed. I *think* it would give a ribbon effect.
You should be happy. It is another beautiful art piece. :)
Winner, winner :-)
