I was able, finally, to take the Dragonfly Serenade quilt outside for some beauty shots. Here it is on one of the large landscape rocks in my neighborhood.
Here it is tossed over a stockade fence.
Here I have gifted it to my friend P. We had met for lunch and asked the waitress to take a photo of us with the quilt. P is still amazed I gave her a quilt, and told me "I don't know how to thank you for this." I think this photo shows that P is really uncomfortable being the center of attention. She really loves the quilt, has already sent pictures to her children, and her daughter said P had to leave it to her in her will.
This is a Slashed Squares quilt. You can make one too. Get my tutorial here for all the how-to information. It's an instant download, so you can get started right away.

Beautiful scene- the quilt and the friend. She will treasure it. It is amazing the life a quilt takes on.
Sometimes a quilt can make more difference than anyone can imagine. Looks like Dragonfly Serenade might be one of those quilts.
