Cutting Pinks

These are the pink and pinkish fabrics I ordered. They arrived on Saturday and I washed and ironed them.

Here are the fabrics that I already had in my stash.

I decided I want to work with long triangles. so I have started cutting some out and putting them up on the design wall. No, the finished design will not be anything like this. I will definitely move things around and vary the design, but in order to play I have to cut more blocks.

In the "oh well" part of life, a burner on my stove "popped" and stopped working. The stove came with the house, and it is probably well over 15 years old, so I did a bit of research and then drove to one of the big box hardware stores to buy a new one. I decided to replace my dishwasher at the same time, because you get a better price when you buy two appliances. Both pieces were on sale, and will get delivered together later in the month. The stove is a Frigidaire and has a built in air fryer and the dishwasher is a Bosch, which ought to be significantly quieter than the one I have now.

I hope your new Bosch dishwasher has space at the lower back for your old water lines to come into it. Ours didn't. $$$$$ spent on running new water lines.
Such pretty pink fabrics.

We love our Bosch dishwasher - when our washer needs to be replaced, we will seriously consider the quiet of a Bosch machine for the laundry room. Our current Maytag is NOISY and annoying. Have fun with those loverly pinks!

Nice collection of pinks. Stove and dishwashers lately have not included space of the lines and require $$ to move/run new ones. I have the classic Speed Queen washer that has no bells and whistles, but washes like a champ. Enjoy laying out your ideas.

You’re going to LOVE your Bosch Dishwasher. I love mine, it is silent!

I'm wondering about you washing your fabrics. Do you have a "trick" to prevent raveling and knotting of strings from one piece to another? Mine come out with a baseball size sphere of knotted strings. Your pink quilt will be quite amusing with the variety of cute objects. Lots to look at and to search for.

Great collection of pinks - love the Tula Pink rose, I bought a piece of this two weeks ago, I thought it would be ideal for fussy cutting.

Lovely Pinks, like the one with the feathers. I recommend getting a Non Stick Crisper Tray pan to use with your air fry option of your oven. Macy's has 2 different sizes, the basket holds your food up.

I need to go appliance shopping too. I hope I can find a sale like yours. I have a Bosch and really like it.

We're planning to get a Bosch when our dishwasher needs replacement. Lovely pinks. Smart of you to create with a single block. Lots of time to play around.

By the way, the preliminary picture of the long triangles is a great modern quilt!
