By the time I went to bed the other night, I had cut out all the pink triangles. They needed to be rearranged, but that could wait. I got up on Saturday morning, turned on Wimbledon and watched Australian Ashleigh Barty win the Ladies Championship. During that time I figured out what I wanted, so I started rearranging my blocks. To do that I removed all the light fabrics.A few hours later, I had arranged the pinks the way I wanted them. I tried to arrange them light-dark-light-dark. This meant that the diagonal rows running from upper right to lower left were rows of either light or darkish pink. I could live with that. As usual I tried to evenly distribute the fabrics all around the quilt.
The studio was pretty messy by the time I was done though. I had lunch, then folded all the fabric and put it away. Then I picked up all the scraps of the floor and vacuumed.
While the Ladies Doubles and then the Gentleman's Doubles finals were going on at Wimbledon I cut out and placed the light fabrics.
When I ran out of gas, I stopped. I'll continue working tomorrow while I "watch" the Gentleman's final at Wimbledon tomorrow.

It has always been that graphic quality of quilts that has drawn me in for all these years. And the bold simplicity of these triangles makes this design sing! Love it.
love the look of this quilt..........
