Here's a detail of the purple area on my colorwash quilt.
After a lot of work, this was my "I think this is it" version, but I know it will what Wanda calls "tweaking."

It looks great Lynne, a nice muted rainbow.
Lovely. It always amazes me how many darks this styles takes and how few lights. It's simple math but I constantly forget.
Really looking good. Great fine color changes. I need to do this one. I have her kit, but her timing wasn't great for me to do it during her classes. You obviously are leaning her skills. Great quilt.
Looks terrific. I think I can see where Wanda might make a few tweaks. You had enough colors, which is good. I wanted to make mine bigger, but ran out of colors. I like the way you used print and batiks. I think that would enable me to work larger. I have prints and I have batiks. I bought plastic cafeteria trays for my squares as they are non slip and very rigid. They nest great.
Wow!
I knew you would make a fabulous color wash -- and you have! Tweaking makes it better - the trick is to know when to stop (LOL).
Wow!!
This is the first “rainbow-like” quilt that I’ve seen that actually appeals to me. Very nice!
