U-I-L-T

I'm starting to make the letters for my new quilt, "NOT PAPER PIECED".

I like to start with the first letters in a phrase and work my way through.

I really liked this snarly cat for the I in QUILT, but he just didn't show up enough.

 
This is the L in QUILT and that horizontal bar just doesn't work.

Here is the U-I-L-T. That T isn't black, he's a very dark purple. I do like the background fabric and have ordered a lot more of it.

Here are some more fabrics I have chosen for this quilt.  Why I chose them ought to be self-explanatory.

 Here are more, and yes, I plan to include the Ghastly Gardener somewhere in the quilt.
