Yeah, this table....
Anyway... I found scraps and I thought... This would make a nice bird wing, so I set those fabrics aside. There were a lot of pinks. I think my New Hampshire Quilt will have a lot of PINK birds.
And this one is very pretty too. She must be a lady bird. A Pink Lady Bird.
It's funny how these two pink birds are so different, and it's even funnier they have the same fabric (in different colorways) on their breasts.
And yeah, the guys named Pat, also known as the New England Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl in 17 years. And yeah, I fretted the whole time.
The possibilities to customize these birds is infinite. If you want to make your own birds, you can get my tutorial here, at my Etsy shop. It's an instant download so you can get started right away. They are fun to make.

Are there pics of Millie celebrating?
Loving your pink birds ... hooray for cleaning up and finding great stuff in the orocess!
Bought you pattern, now I am hooked. Made eight of these guys over the last couple days. I did make one error and the neck is longer on one of the birds I made. I liked him so well, I made another. They remind me of a wood pecker my daughter has that lives at her house out in the country, or a blue jay. Needless to say I figured just to make it look intentional I made two more. Love the ability to play a bit with the pattern as you suggested.
You inspire me...great birds...and, of course as my Grandma said, Creative Minds are Rarely Tidy!!
Love these birds! I bought your tutorial quite a while ago and still not made a start - seeing these my give me the hurry up that I need!
These birds are all ready for Valentine's Day!
