One of the advantages of big blocks like this (a reminder that these large triangles are 9" on the bottom and 18" tall) is that they sew together really quickly.
I'm actually rather surprised the diagonal seams fits so well together given the way I've been throwing the big triangles around so cavalierly for the last week. (By the way those strings you see are plumb lines I use to line up the blocks straight when I am designing something.)
I will need only 51 seams to put the whole thing together.
Well now that's down to 27. I've got the third and fourth rows sewn together. Why did I start there? It was easy to reach.

Love the way it's looking.
I like this layout a lot! Nice that you are using all the different blocks.
I relate to starting where it is easy to reach. LOL I notice a small step ladder in many of your design wall photos.
Your plum line idea is brilliant - saves tons of shuffling and tweaking, I'm sure.
