I don't know how much pink fabric I bought in terms of yardage, or the number of different pink fabrics. I'm not quite sure how many different pink fabrics are in the quilt, but I do know one thing.

Do you need a larger room, or less stuff???
It's a pink explosion! Seriously, in order to create a quilt that is original and has an evolving design, that is just what happens. Some people get so stressed about mess when creating, they shut down. It will get cleaned up when the quilt is done. It always does. Thank you for sharing your process.
I took your studio tour and it looks to me like it is a thoughtfully well organized space. As for the mess..... it looks like home to me. That is exactly what happens in my own sewing room LOL. When creativity is going on who wants to stop and "tidy Up"? Of course once in a while I have to stop and clean up because I become frustrated looking for things I have lost in the mess.
BTW I really like all of the diamond quilts.
Love this post and the sharing of the whole "pink" explosion!
Thank you.
Happens to all of us - you are better than I am about sharing evidentiary photos though.
