Diamond Jubilee, Gifted

So, do you think my niece likes her quilt?

Yup, she loves it.

I'm going to be off line for about a week, so if I don't post between now and then, don't worry. I've got something big I've been meaning to do for a while and it's going to take all my attention. I'll be back about June 27th or so.

She sure does love it so much. Have a great time with whatever it is. See you by the end of June.

What a wonderful picture! It's the best feeling to give a quilt that was made especially for a special person and get that reaction....simply the best!!

Just to say thank you very much for your posting excellent instructions for bird blocks in your post for July 24th 2010(?) - think I've got the year right. I found it using tutorials. I really admire your bird quilts but didn't want to go against your no pinning etc rule.
Oh as for this post - it reminds what quilts are for and why we make them. Mary in the UK
