Whenever I fly anywhere, I always get a window seat.
I love to look at the ground below.
I am always amazed at how it so often looks like patchwork.
Or quilting, or applique, or whatever...
And even if it doesn't look like patchwork,
It's still pretty freaking gorgeous. (The photo above was taken while flying over the Rockies.)

Yes, window seats are the best!
Beautiful photos. I once flew over The Netherlands when all the tulips were in bloom in the fields. That was breathtaking too...

Yep, Mum does window seats too, for the same reason. To see the neat patterns on the ground.
Fabulous pics. Thanks for sharing. Can I own up to preferring the aisle seat? Easier to get up and walk up and down, or nip to the bathroom, or even just stretch the legs - no need to climb over anyone.
I guess this is a good example of: isn't it terrific that we're all different?! LOL
