When my son arrived on Saturday he complained he hadn't been able to get any sleep on the redeye flight from Los Angeles. He didn't get much sleep before he had to leave either, perhaps four hours Saturday night, as his flight home left Boston at 6AM. I don't know if he slept at all on that plane either, but my DIL sent this photo in a text message to tell me he was safely home.
"The eagle has landed," she wrote, "and has already passed out."
I thought it charming that his dog was snuggled up beside him.

Dog plus the kitties?
Me too - how come he's got a woofie? That seems disloyal to the very special felines in his life, both in LA and in NH!

Did he borrow those PJs from Hugh Heffner?
Clearly a certain lil scruff was happy to have his certain lil human home! Those cross country flights are rough....
I hope you had a nice visit, how wonderful it must have been to have him home for a few days!
