Do not adjust your set. This picture is sideways***
I was thinking about the green BEF letters I made earlier and decided they were too cheery, too hopeful, too fun and too creative to be at the start of the "Before you can think out of the box..." I felt they had to be less intense and less "fun" looking. So I made some grey ones. This is as far as I got though. The house was screaming. Or rather, there was no empty counter space in the kitchen so I had to break down and do all the dishes.
Here are the green letters for comparison.
***(I am pissed. I have uploaded this picture (above) SIX different times, and even though it is STRAIGHT on my computer, when Blogger uploads it, it gets twisted. So TO HELL WITH IT!)

Totally understand your frustration with Blogger - it happens to me, too.
Like the gray letters a lot (especially with your thought process).
Oh, my, the alchemical magic of my art quilt's presence has already been felt. The hated brown fabrics have now had a purchase, she's using the right side a bit more than the left, and feeling the need to bring in the light, and the words are ushering negative energies ....out, out, out of Lynn ;) It's going to be great, just as everything you do is, all things take time, some just more to get to than others.
I am making a brown quilt as we speak. I love all of the magic from the mother earth and her children. I only wish I had a bit more left brain in me so I could be as good with piecing my ABC's instead of going in circles then falling off the design board in my process. We are just so lucky that we all have you to show us the way.
Stoopid blogger! That's OK, my head turns sideways too.
Yeah, I LIKE this! The green was a little bright and cheery for the thought it's to convey. And I like those fabrics too!
I hate when I have to stop and wash the *darn* dishes. I'm getting to that point quickly. Where's the dish fairy when you need her?
Don't ya just hate it when the house screams at you... The nerve of it! :o)
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie
Good decision to go with the grey, and also to give up with Blogger. It's a great tool, but sometimes it makes me want to swear too!
