I think I overdid it. These two overlapping trees on the far right are too close in value, and the one on the left leans too far over to the left.
And the house needs a cat.

Considering the chimney is leaning in the same direction as the tree, just think of it as a strong wind blowing!

I've been looking more closely at the trees here - certainly they are NOT all straight, neat, and tidy.
How about a cat on the roof?
I think the angle of the trees is fine Lynne. The two green ones are close in value, but that's quirky and visually interesting and a lot like nature.
As for the cat - absolutely. EVERY house needs a cat.

i don't think they're too close in value. the trunks just need separation.
Trust me, trees really do grow like that! Really, they look just fine. I have fir trees in my back yard, and they're all about the same color. Your trees just look like different varieties of evergreens. But Kelly is right about separating the trunks somehow.
And yes, a cat is a must.
Did the cat that was there on Wednesday go back inside?
