Here are some of the wonderful students from the class at Quilted Threads. For the first exercise, I asked them to make their names.
I thought I got pictures of all the students, but I missed a few. Sorry ladies!
Didn't they do a fabulous job? I confess I really kept them working hard.
Most of them said seeing my quilts hanging at the shop over the last year sparked their interest in making free pieced letters. Several knew about this blog, and one of them (I'm not telling which one) has been a faithful blog reader for a long time!!!
They loved the slideshow I put together showing letter quilts by Brenda, Joyce, Sharon, Jean, Tonya, Julie, Joe Tulips, Victoria and others.
We had a great day.

Wow Lynne - they certainly did do a wonderful job, and these were their FIRST exercises? Fabulous effort all round. No doubt they had an excellent teacher.
Now - give yourself and your cat a wonderfully relaxing time over the next couple of weeks, won't you. You've both been through a hectic period.
