While Irene blows in today, and dumps rain on us, I plan to be sewing (assuming we don't lose electricity.
First up is a case for Pip-pay's Kindle.

Next up is a snuggie for my best friend, who's expecting a baby in October.

If we lose electricity, I get to read and fold the laundry.
I'm on vacation this week, so I'll be resuming the Red Letter Sew Along. Look for the letter R either Monday or Tuesday (electricity permitting).

Both look like fun projects! I have been swamped by back to work and other projects but hope to get back to my letters too.
They need to add a treadle sewing machine on hurricane supply list.
I have been thinking of you and wondering how you are doing in the storm. My brother is in Maryland.
I hope you do not lose power, TAKE CARE! Stay safe,
Chris
