The first recipient is an older gentleman who recently had to put his wife in a home because she has Alzheimer's. He'd been caring for her all by himself, so this is a tough time for him. I thought a quilt would make him smile. As you may know, if you've been reading Millie's blog, I've been cleaning my house like a madwoman. I'm getting rid of a lot of stuff, and I'm being pretty brutal about it.
These are wooden backed rubber stamps. They are high quality, and strong enough to emboss velvet. I don't need them, and I don't want to just throw them away. I'd be happy to give them away, but I would like them to be used. Leave a comment if you are interested, or email me.

I've started collecting these. I would love to have them.... :)
I'd love to have them too. I make lots of greeting cards, and now I'm stamping on fabric as well. You've got some great designs there!
I love the blocks and I'm sure the gentleman will appreciate a quilt.
Even in the summer on rainy days a quilt is nice...
I would love to win them! They look like they would be lots of fun.
Would love to have these to share with my 8 year old granddaughter for crafts. Summer craft time will be here before we know it.
Those blocks are great, I am sure the finished quilt will be loved!! Cleaning like a madwoman is always nice - if nothing else, it is nice afterwards ;)
The stamps would work well for some of DH's woodturning projects -
The gizzy block projects are wonderful!
What are Gizzy blocks? Just scraps put together?
(not interested in the stamps!)
As an art quilter for the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative, I could really, really use this and would totally love receiving them. Please put my name down a someone who is completely interested!!!
