Usually when I make a word, I trim the letters to the desired height (within 1/2") before I sew them together. This time, I didn't.
Looking at the photo, I want more space between the "A" and the "M", and less space between the "F" and the "A."
Oh well.
This word may or may not be part of a quilt I have been rolling around in my head. I know the words I want to use, and the extra components I want to include, but I have no idea how they will fit together, so I figured I should just start making things and I'd figure it out as I went along.

If you think about it Lynne, that's the way most families get made!

very nice word.I will be watching to see what goes with it.
I love it - good to explore and play a bit!
Yep...looks like my family. Some of us are closer than others, some of us are skinnier, fatter, taller, shorter, and no matter how we are, or what we are made up of...we're still a family and we still love one another...well, most of the time;)
Great job on each letter!
Sometimes an F looks good if you place the lower half next to the letter so the top half goes "over the top".
Do you get what I mean?
