Something Different

I haven't been happy with the last couple of wallets I bought, so when I found a pattern I liked, I thought I'd give it a try.I had some wild fabric, and decided to have a little fun. The fabric is okay, but my execution was wanting.
I always have a hard time when things are heavily interfaced. My sewing machine, even with the walking foot, gives me trouble, as you can see by the uneven stitching around the outer edges.

This pattern is a great design, however, and stores everything I would want.

Very cute wallet. It is hard to find a wallet that holds everything you need!

Derby, Nope not for the shop. Just for me.

Try putting a stack of sticky notes the same thickness as your project an 1/8" or so to the right of the needle. It serves the dual purpose of keeping the presser foot balanced, and giving you something to slide the work piece along as you sew.

I like your wallet! Looks like it holds a ton of stuff. Who cares if the stitches aren't perfect - it's stunning! What pattern did you use?
