I have a friend who knits. As soon as I started making these little bags, she said, "They'd be great for knitting needles."
"How big are knitting needles?" I asked."
They come in three sizes, and the longest are 14 inches."

We went back and forth, about how big a bag should be. I remembered seeing some really really fat knitting needles once, and I thought, well, if you're going to store ALL your knitting needles in one bag, it would have to be, well, BIG!

So THIS bag is for knitting needles. It
is big; the bag itself is 14-1/2" by 3" wide and 3" deep. I'm calling it The Buxom Bag.
The Buxom Bags are constructed exactly the same as the smaller skinny bags - 100% cotton on the outside with a white vinyl lining.

I don't have any knitting needles, but I do have artist's oil painting brushes, so I put some brushes in the bag. I was amazed at how many I could stuff into it.
I can't wait to see if my friend likes it.

SQUEE!
Perfect for knitting needles...and paint brushes!
Those are great little bags.
I just love your little bags!!!
Lynne, if you get a chance, could you please take a look at my blog and let me know what you think - turquoise or no turquoise blocks? I seriously need your graphic artist's eye.
I really think that these bags will go like hotcakes - after all knitters like quilters also like to have gadgets to organize their yarn and needle stashes.
