Wake up at 4 AM and realize the plans you had for one quilt project were much better suited for another one? And then you can't get to sleep because all of a sudden that something that was bothering you is now DEMANDING ATTENTION!
So you get up and head to the sewing room and started?
Well, that's my day so far today.

Oh My lol so funny! I design quilts in my sleep sometimes and have done the same thing. what is real bad is I drive a school bus and at mid day I have to go back in to drive a k-run. I have acually been designing as I drive to work and pulled my car right into the school as if I was going to pick the kids up, forgetting to go get my bus first. I only did it twice this year. My friend another driver Pam is useually sitting at the school already in her bus will call me on my cell and laugh at me she knows my mind is still in my sewing room. lol
No, no and no. I have never done that! I would be afraid that I would sew my fingers together! I have had the ideas wake me up, just never acted on it. You sound like a lady on a mission!! Have fun!
You had me going with you until you got up and started sewing. I may get up and write down what I am thinking so I won't forget, but get up and sew, I don't think so. Of course the studio is located next door to my house so I pretty much have to get dressed (somewhat). But no, I go back to sleep and than sew later in the morning.
