In Phase 3, I moved The Stash. Which was pretty interesting. I merely switched the contents of two bookcases. Sort of. I had to empty the contents of one shelf on one bookcase before I could replace it with contents of the other. This bookcase used to hold Art books. Hardcovers. (Damn, they were heavy!)
And remember how I used to store cut 4-1/2" and 2-1/2" strips on hangers in the closet?
Now they are all in the bins underneath my ironing table. (I also replaced the silvery heat resistant fabric on the top.So far, so good. The next step is moving the four long bookshelves (and all the stuff on them)to the old sewing room.

Wow it's looking great!!
Have you ever tried sliders to move heavy things? I bought "Super Sliders" from the local discount store, and they work great to move the heavy tables around in my sewing room. All you have to do is tip the edge up enough to place a slider under the leg. It works pretty sweet when I need to rearrange the furniture to work on a project. Good luck with moving!
When I had to empty my studio to get the floor refinished, I used my rolling suitcases to move the heavy stuff to my living room. It is fun putting everything away in a new room though isn't it? This is a chance to really get organized.
Maybe you could get that hunky guy with no shirt from Friday's post to help you with the heavy stuff.
Looks great, and so neat!
Lots of work, but tons of fun, too, yes?
It's going to be so great when it's done.
You are going to have a very neat studio.
Inspiration always comes faster to me when everything is neat and tidy.
