The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
I typed this phrase over and over in typing class when I was 14. The phrase uses every letter in the alphabet at least once. I don't know if it is still used.
These are the lower case letters on black backgrounds I made in October 2008. I had to make a few more letters. (There are four o's and three e's...) Although they are easy to see in this photo, in reality, the w and f are very hard to see, so I will make new ones.

Yay for free pieced letters! Yours look amazing.
wheee, more fun than a plain old sampler (okay, okay, I love those too). so funny, just reading over it, that little i in quick looked like an H - hee hee hee.
from up here in Winnipeg, it's perfectly legible. I wouldn't change them at all. they're great!
How funny! I knew exactly what that sentence was! Good old typing class. Love the background fabric.
as always, your work is fantastic. i remember typing that over and over and over again. good memories from school. my teacher was always getting upset with me for sitting on the edge of my chair. i'm so short that if is sat all the way back my feet didn't touch the floor.
I love the "e" in the second "the". It looks like someone smiling in profile.
I also remember typing phrases like that, fun! I love how you have free pieced them.
